Especially on the eve of 9/11. I was amazed at the ease of passing through security, everything on our cruise, which was booked to capacity, was so well organized, you never felt the crowds. And it was nothing like airport security, in terms of lines and wait times. Although I heard about a ship that on its return, security mistook a toy for a hand grenade, resulting in hours of delay.
